Description
A German research institute has developed a prototype of a mobile non-invasive alarm system for patients suffering from insufficient oxygen supply due to unintended breathing stops risking suffocation. The device is placed behind the ear and wakes up users in case they nod off unintentionally, allowing them a normal life during the day. The institute looks for an R&D or commercial agreement with technical assistance with a company to develop the prototype into a market-ready device.
