The German airport operator is looking for IT companies from data analytics or artificial intelligence to solve one problem they suffer: currently, price data from completed construction projects is not systematically pro-cessed. This makes it difficult to review construction projects, and moreover, there is no central and uniform data base for planning new measures. Calculations for new projects are based on personal experience without a generally valid calculation base. Therefore, they are looking for a solution for a statistically based calculation of construction costs by processing and evaluating construction price data of completed pro-jects. The expected costs for a new project should be able to be forecast by specify-ing the scope of the measure and operational parameters. To take different user groups of the solution into account, different levels of detail are necessary in the rep-resentation of the expected construction costs. The request is part of an open innovation call of the German airport operator. In two month after project start a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) should be presented to the company. Deadline for expressions of interest is 7 October 2022. Interested companies directly apply at the German airport operator. Selected solution providers pitch their idea from 18.-20.10.22. Start of cooperation will be 3 days after quotes have been submitted.
